Redesigning the PM Around the Brain

La presentazione è il risultato della combinazione di due prodotti di lavoro sostanziali: Cognitive Readiness in Project Management (ovvero Prontezza Cognitiva nel Project Management) e Behavioral Project Management (ovvero Project Management Comportamentale). La prontezza cognitiva rappresenta l'integrazione delle tre intelligenze e l'integrazione ivi alimenta il processo rappresentato dagli studi di psicologia sociale realizzati dagli sforzi di gestione del progetto comportamentale. Entrambi gli sforzi sono basati sulla neuroscienza e sulla psicologia. Entrambi cercano di aiutare i project manager e i program manager a essere maggiormente in grado di ottenere risultati positivi, risultati finali, prodotti e benefici.

Questi lavori dimostrano che i termini hard e soft skills forse non sono più rilevanti. Ciò che è rilevante è la fusione e l'integrazione delle intelligenze tra loro e in un processo decisionale ragionato e logico. Il futuro della nostra disciplina è progettare la gestione dei progetti attorno agli esseri che creano e gestiscono i progetti: gli esseri umani.

The presentation is a result of the combination of two substantial pieces of work product: Cognitive Readiness in Project Management and Behavioral Project Management. Cognitive readiness represents the integration of the three intelligences and the integration there of feeds the process represented by the social psychology studies done by the behavioral project management efforts. Both efforts are based in neuroscience and psychology. Both seek to assist project and program managers to be better able to achieve successful delivery of outcomes, deliverables, products, and benefits.

These pieces of work demonstrate that the terms hard and soft skills are perhaps no longer relevant. What is relevant is the blending and integration of the intelligences with each other and into the a reasoned and logical decision-making process. The future of our discipline is designing project management around the beings that create and run projects: humans.
