International ISIPM Award 2017

  • L’International ISIPM Award è nato con l’obiettivo di stimolare e promuovere la ricerca e l’innovazione nella disciplina del project management, per raggiungere sempre migliori prestazioni nei progetti, inclusi, i progetti di particolare complessità.

    L'Istituto Italiano di Project Management (ISIPM) ha quindi nominato un comitato scientifico deputato a valutare i ricercatori che più si sono distinti negli ultimi 2 anni, con particolare attenzione a questi temi:

    • intelligenze multiple (cognitive, emotive, sociali) in contesti complessi (Multiple intelligences in complex contexts)
    • "Leadership" e "People", pilastri, rispettivamente, delle competenze di cui al Talent Triangle (PMI) ed all’Eye of Competence (IPMA).

    Siamo pertanto orgogliosi di annunciare i vincitori di questa prima edizione dell’International ISIPM Award: Richard Boyatzis e Daniel Goleman

      Richard E. Boyatzis is Distinguished University Professor and Professor in the Departments of Organizational Behavior, Psychology, and Cognitive Science at Case Western Reserve University, and HR Horvitz Professor of Family Business, as well as Adjunct Professor in People/Organizations at ESADE.
      He earned his BS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, and a MS and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Harvard University.
      Using his Intentional Change Theory (ICT), he studies sustained, desired change at all levels of human endeavor from individuals, teams, organizations, communities and countries.
      Before becoming a professor, he was CEO of the research consulting company McBer and Company (now part of the Hay Group/Korn Ferry) for 11 years and COO of the market research company Yankelovich, Skelly & White for three years.
      He was ranked #9 Most Influential International Thinker by HR Magazine in 2012 and 2014. He is the author of more than 200 articles on leadership, competencies, emotional intelligence, competency development, coaching, neuroscience and management education. His Coursera MOOCs, including Inspiring Leadership Through Emotional Intelligence have over 670,000 enrolled from 215 countries.
      His 7 books include: The Competent Manager; the international best-seller, Primal Leadership with Daniel Goleman and Annie McKee; and Resonant Leadership, with Annie McKee.
      He has over 5,500 hours of coaching, has been teaching and training coaches since 1970 and published 22 articles on coaching. Professor Boyatzis acquired his bachelor’s degree in aeronautics and astronautics from MIT before going on to obtain his MS and PhD in social psychology from Harvard University, and a Board Certified Coach.
    • Daniel Goleman

      Daniel Goleman is an internationally known psychologist who lectures frequently to professional groups, business audiences, and on college campuses. As a science journalist Goleman reported on the brain and behavioral sciences for The New York Times for many years.
      Emotional Intelligence was named one of the 25 “Most Influential Business Management Books” by TIME Magazine. The Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and Accenture Institute for Strategic Change have listed Goleman among the most influential business thinkers.
      He currently co-directs the Consortium for Research on Emotional Intelligence in Organizations (www.eiconsortium.org) at Rutgers University. The consortium fosters research partnerships between academic scholars and practitioners on the role emotional intelligence plays in excellence.
      Goleman is a board member of the Mind & Life Institute, which fosters dialogues and research collaborations among contemplative practitioners and scientists.
      Goleman has organized a series of intensive conversations between the Dalai Lama and scientists, which resulted in the books Healthy Emotions, and Destructive Emotions.
      He is currently editing a book from the most recent dialogue on ecology, interdependence, and ethics.

    Entrambi, da oltre un ventennio, hanno condotto avanzate ricerche sugli aspetti del comportamento umano, sviluppando, in particolare, l'intelligenza emotiva (emotional intelligence), le competenze, la leadership (inclusi, recentemente, gli aspetti relativi al "resonant leader") e le intelligenze multiple (cognitive, emotive, sociali), tutti temi che risultano di particolare efficacia nello sviluppo e nella gestione dei team di progetto.

  • The International ISIPM Award was born with the aim of stimulating and promoting research and innovation in project management to achieve better performance in projects, including, in particular, complex projects.

    Therefore the Scientific Committee of the Italian Institute of Project Management (ISIPM) assessed the most distinguished researchers within the past 2 years, with particular attention to these subjects:

    • multiple intelligences (cognitive, emotional, social) in complex contexts (Multiple Intelligences in complex contexts)
    • Leadership and People, milestone, respectively, of the Talent Triangle competences (PMI) and of the Eye of Competence (IPMA).
